The Innovation Council

A focused forum to prioritise what’s worth doing now — and what’s worth building next.

Introduces only innovations that are showing the most real-world promise

Brings teams into discussion about operationalising innovation

Provides a check-in point for initiatives introduced through the Innovation Council, ensuring optimised client mobilisation and benefit

Ensures that innovation becomes culturally ingrained into our client’s business DNA.

When would it meet?

We recommend quarterly or semi-annual workshops of approximately 2 hours in duration.

Who is involved?

The DPR&Co Innovation Council team may change from time-to-time or evolve based on client need. At its core would be your key strategic leadership team as well as DPR&Co Agency Principal, Phil Huzzard, Alyve Principal, Mark Cameron, and Sense 6 Principal, David Finnegan. The council identifies and prioritises initiatives for:

Consideration as to relevance and fit

Affordability

Opportunity to leverage benefit quickly

Strategic longer-term technologies worthy of investment.

How or whether the client then chose to implement the initiative, process or tech would then be at the client’s discretion.

What’s involved
in the process

Our workshop lead will with your team check in on the present state of performance, innovation focus and technology adoption within your team.

The expert team members are then briefed and conduct their own research into Australian and international best practice to form a view on which innovations were showing promise in delivering enhanced performance in the areas of greatest need or promise.

The workshop would then be conducted with client team members present at the client’s discretion.

The meeting deliverable is an initial recommendation on one or more key innovation initiatives and a process overview for operationalising the priority innovation/s as quickly as possible.
